Why limit yourself to a hour with the battery that comes with. You will NEED this battery.
There is nothing worse than running out of battery life, this will add some wieght to the camcorder but is totally worth it.
I bought this battery for my Canon Vixia HF100 digital camcorder, and man am I glad I did. I get over 4 hours of recording time out of this battery, around 3 times as much as the battery it came with. This battery is a must for any Vixia camera owners in my opinion.
i've been bumping up my canon HF10 and its strange but this battery is one of my favorite things in my camera bag because this thing last forever. i was using my camera from 8am till 6pm, on and off. but it lasted all day.
Fine battery, works well and everything is as it is supposed to be. Love it.
